HVAC Service Technicians
B& B Plumbing and Heating is seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to join our growing team! This position plays a key role in maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial customers. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ventilation systems, and ductwork.
- Diagnose system issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork and components using hand and power tools.
- Ensure all work meets industry standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations.
- Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials to job sites.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure proper disposal of materials.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers, supervisors, and team members.
- Provide updates on job progress and document completed work.
- Contribute to a positive team environment focused on delivering exceptional service.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational HVAC training preferred.
- 1–3 years of HVAC installation or service experience (more is a plus).
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, tools, and installation techniques.
- EPA certification and OSHA 10/30 preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, confined spaces, and indoor/outdoor environments.
- Strong problemsolving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Work Environment
- Monday–Friday schedule with occasional overtime as needed.
- Work performed at residential homes, commercial buildings, and construction sites.
- Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly wage: $18–$30, based on experience and skill level.
